GROWN TO HELP (GTH) has been selected for Cohort 4 of the Africa Fundraising Incubator (AFI), supported by The New Africa Fund.

This great news coincides with our ongoing 60-Day Drive for Education, an initiative focused on helping vulnerable children stay in school.

The Africa Fundraising Incubator builds fundraising capacity for African organizations through training, mentorship, and practical support. Participation in the incubator will help GTH enhance its resource mobilization and build sustainable relationships with donors.

As part of the program, GTH will participate in a 30-day fundraising challenge from November 1–30, 2026. During this period, The New Africa Fund will match eligible donations dollar for dollar up to $5,000.

For many vulnerable families in Rwanda, educational barriers range from material costs, like fees, uniforms, supplies, and meals, to emotional and relational challenges, including low self-confidence and strained mother-child relationships. GTH addresses these foundational needs so children can enroll, attend school consistently, and succeed.

Long-term educational stability requires financially secure households. To support lasting independence, our model combines educational support and mentorship for children with positive parenting dialogues and economic programs for mothers, including financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, savings groups, and livelihood support.

Providing immediate school access alongside sustainable family income helps break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

Our 60-Day Drive for Education continues. Thanks to community support, 65 children are currently attending school, and 10 have graduated from high school.

Joining AFI Cohort 4 builds on this progress by offering a matched-funding opportunity to extend the reach of our current drive.

GTH will participate in the AFI fundraising challenge from November 1–30, 2026. Throughout October, we will share details on campaign goals, contribution guidelines, and the dedicated donation link.
