Women Creative Center is a new project under "Economic Empowerment Program."

In collaboration with Yali East Africa alumni cohort 47 & 42, Dukataze, and Janzu Foundation for women and children. we organized and hosted the MHD2023 at Gitega Primary School.

Organized by AFRIYAN RWANDA in collaboration with UNFPA RWANDA, and hosted by the MINISRTRY OF HEALTH we were invited to participate in the national meeting on youth engagement in the implementation of ICPD25 country commitments.

IGIHOZO Group is a saving and internal lending group of women heads of beneficiary families.

As a Yali East Africa alumnus, our Founder and Executive Director was invited to participate in the 1st ever alumni symposium, organized and hosted by the U.S Embassy in partnership with Leadership and Accountability for Development (LEAD)

Organized by MENENGAGE-RWANDA, in collaboration with HDI-RWANDA, we attended a 2-day workshop to lean about fundamental laws on human rights.

A learning experience organizational capacity assessment, organized and conducted by AFRIYAN_RWANDA, in Musanze district.

Every six months we organize and attend a general assembly meeting, that aims mostly to evaluate the progress of the overall work.

We are a large family open to everyone whom we share the same values and vision. 47 members of la Chorale des Peuples d'Epinal all the way from France met our team and beneficiaries to learn more about our work, give us the gifts brought for our beneficiaries and have inspirational, fun moment with us.

A memorable event with education program beneficiaries. A get together event held on December 24, 2022, to celebrate their achievements, share cake and have fun dancing.

It was a great privilege to attend a two-day youth policy dialogue, themed: empowering, and inspiring success. organized by the Citizen Voice and Action (CVA), with an aim of creating space for the youth to meaningfully participate in leadership positions.

The International Day of the Girl Child was celebrated at Gitega primary school, on October 30th, 2022, with 67 girls.

On Friday, 15th July 2022 , The official celebration of 1Year Anniversary was held at Hotel Baobab, Nyarugenge District, Kigali City. The Main Objective of the event was to showcase the Impact Report of the Year 2021-2022, and the Activity plan for the next year 2022-2023 to our Stakeholders, both were presented by Our Founder and ED Mugabekazi Denyse

During multiple sessions We offer training in Job creation and financial literacy to its beneficiaries women, we supported five of them with startup kits to help them start their own small businesses. This will reduce financial dependence that often stimulates Domestic and Gender-Based violence.

Rwanda Community Health Insurance is a medical scheme for low-income households, to ensure that everyone in Gacyamo cell will have access to medical and health services, with the donation from The Challenges Group Rwanda, we supported 64 vulnerable households with a full year of health insurance.

Lack of safe, clean, and covered sanitation can contaminate water, and cause preventable diseases and health issues. It can also be dangerous for children; especially girls. To address the problem in collaboration with SATO ToiletsRwanda 24 toilets were transformed from traditional pit latrines to Sato toilets. @Gitega Primary School.

Follow-up meetings with women beneficiaries who have started income-generating activities, to provide them with practical business knowledge and a mindset conducive to starting and managing successful business activities.

It attests that the implemented solution has a measurable impact. It endorses the commitment to grow as an organization within the Lightup Impact network. GBV is often due to financial dependence of women to men, which causes them to live unhappy and in fear. On Saturday 27th November 2021, GTH offered a training in Job creation and financial literacy to its beneficiaries, after that women enrolled in vocation training such as Sewing, Hair braiding, Fruits & Vegetable trading business. After completion of vocation training GTH will support them with startup kits to help them start their small businesses. The mental health of individuals is shaped by the social, environmental and economic conditions in which they are born, grow, work and age. Poverty and deprivation are key determinants of children's social and behavioural development, and adult mental health.

We aim to empower vulnerable families, through SRHR and Economic empowerment projects, we encourage our beneficiaries to use birth control methods, as a tool to reduce unplanned pregnancies and abortions, to improve maternal & Infant health, to reduce child poverty, to improve family wellbeing and economic growth, and also to increase education attainment and employment for women.

My Name is Milliam and I am 18 years old having recently finished S5. I want to be the first one to finish highschool and attend a tertiary education. My elder sister dropped out in S3 and so did my mother due to poverty.

For over the time Mugisha has been a beneficiary of GTH he never ceases to share and express his love for aviation. From simply talking about planes to his dreams of being a pilot, GTH is pleased to be part of his awesome journey.

Mucyo Blaise (Names changed for confidentiality) is another young GTH beneficiary determined to become a soldier. Having had a severe head injury that retarded his studying and often makes him neglected at school, GTH has been helping him regain his self esteem and with progress hope is being restored in his life.

My name is Nkurikiyimfura Jean Paul . I am the first born of my family, with three younger siblings. I study hard to have a brighter future for myself and my siblings who already look up to me since our father died and our mother left us in the care of our grandmother who is

Mugeniwase Laetitia, at a young age already has a big vision for her community. She wants to be a surgeon to help people with life threatening conditions. Being raised by her grandmother, who suffers from spinal damage, Laetitia is always inspired to become better every day.

Meet Kirezikimanzi Divine, a recent primary graduate and our beneficiary. She is 16 years of age and the first born of her family with 7 siblings. Divine dedicates her education to her bright future one that includes self reliance, and her family’s well being.

Kevin is determined to be an automobile engineer. From simply admiring vehicles around the neighborhood and being passionately curious about how things operate, his dream is still solid. Meanwhile , with his parents depending on occasional jobs, with very little resources and limited finances.

My name is Niyonkuru Egide I am 10 years old and I am in P5 at Gitega primary school , my dream is to become an engineer as soon I finish my studies .But this dream tends to be unclear to my eyes whenever i think about the life that me and my two siblings are living in.

The future should be bright, but the path is unpromising.* Kwizera Jean Paul and his twin brother Jean Claude recently finished P5 at 15 years of age, the delay was caused by a miserable life they had since their births.
