Milliam's story
My Name is Milliam and I am 18 years old having recently finished S5. I want to be the first one to finish high-school and attend a tertiary education. My elder sister dropped out in S3 and so did my mother due to poverty. Therefore I do not take it for granted that they invest all their energy to help me make it and graduate. My mother is a cleaner and washes for people to earn money to support the home while my father left us.
With GTH I get school fees and other materials which helps my mother as she allocates her income to bettering our lives . I not only want to graduate and be a first generation of my family but I want to achieve a more sustainable career and better future.
